History of Cooper Office Equipment, INC
Lee and Agnes Cooper, 1st Generation Founded Cooper Office Equipment in 1936 until retirement in 1966. Lee and Agnes lead the company in the most difficult years of the 20th century. Lee Cooper died in 1992 followed by Agnes in 2005.

LeRoy and Carol Cooper, 2nd Generation are credited with further expansion of Cooper Office Equipment including the Corporate Headquarters building in Gladstone, MI. After the expansion in 1979, the recession of the early 1980's hit. These proved to be challenging times, but growth continued. Carol and LeRoy have since retired.

Rob & John Cooper, 3rd Generation added the three branch offices and many more employees. Totally redirecting and retooling the company's direction was necessary because of the vast technology revolution that has taken place. Never before in the history of the company has there been so much change in such a short time.

Field Service Technician-Copier/Fax/Multifunction:


Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on copier/fax/multifunction equipment. Communicate with customers on the status of repairs. Connect copier/fax/multifunction equipment to networks when applicable. Maintain accurate accountability of parts and equipment. Complete all required paperwork associated with service calls and communicate with dispatch office. Inform sales department of sales leads.

Qualifications: Previous experience with copier/fax/multifunction service is desired. Working knowledge of computers and networks is desired. Electro/mechanical troubleshooting skills are a must. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to multi-task are required. Must be able to lift 60 lbs, be able to work independently or as a part of a team, have excellent work ethic and an outgoing personality with a professional appearance.
